WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. — More than one kilogram of suspected methamphetamine was seized during a recent drug investigation in Whitfield County, resulting in the arrest of one woman on multiple felony charges.
According to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office, deputies recovered approximately 1,057 grams of suspected methamphetamine during the investigation, along with $1,161 in cash. Authorities said the narcotics were prevented from reaching the community and have been secured as evidence.

The sheriff’s office credited the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department’s K-9 Unit for assisting with the investigation.
Sheriff Darren Pierce reiterated the agency’s commitment to combating illegal drug activity in Whitfield County.
“If you sell illegal narcotics in Whitfield County, we are coming after you,” Pierce said, adding that the sheriff’s office remains committed to aggressively targeting drug trafficking throughout the county.
