Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 14

Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday, March 14th at 2 a.m. Be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday evening (Spring Forward), and remember to check the batteries in your home smoke detectors.

A bill for Georgia to stay in Daylight Savings Time Recently passed by House with a 112-44 vote. It’s not in the Senate. Still if signed into law, Georgia would need an act from Congress to make the change permanent.

If the bill does pass all the hurdles, Georgia wouldn’t fall back on Sunday, November 7.
